Dear Supporters

I am excited to let you know about my campaign for Bexar County Commissioner, Precinct 4. I’m running in the Democratic primary and I would be proud to have your vote and your support.

Precinct 4 needs strong leadership on the Commissioners Court. Both on the City Council and as a long time advocate for the development of the area, I have a proven record of bringing people to the table and getting things done.

As County Commissioner, I will continue fighting to invest in our local military, ensuring we’re prepared for BRAC and the coming influx of military personnel into our community. I’ll develop and implement programs that tackle crime and drugs and ensure kids stay in school and move to either college or good jobs when they graduate. I’ll work to improve county health care services by tapping our vast local resources to make Bexar County a health care hub for the nation. And I’ll continue bringing the community together to get things done.

A recent poll by Wilson Research Strategies, a well-respected DC polling firm, shows me in a statistical dead heat with the 12-year incumbent in a Democratic primary matchup. Like many others voters, I strongly believe that Precinct 4 wants and deserves more... much more!
